Highlights: At Hershey's Giant Center, Matt Jones scored eight of his game-high 15 points in the final quarter as second-seeded Susquehanna Township pulled away from No. 7 Muhlenberg for a 53-40 win in a District 3-AAA semifinal Monday night.

The Muhls (16-11) were within two points after Taylor Graeff's basket with 6:03 remaining in the game before the Indians (23-3) pulled away with an 11-1 run over the next four minutes.

Muhlenberg, which clinched a PIAA berth by beating Suburban York last week in the quarterfinals, plays a state seeding game for third place Thursday at a site and time to be determined.

Derek Zeller led the Muhls with 10 points, all in the second half.
