Chris Hartzell hit the go-ahead basket with 32 seconds left as Wilson defeated Chambersburg 52-49 in the District 3-AAAA fifth-place game Thursday night at East Pennsboro.

Junior guard Alex Fegley scored a career-high 13 points for the Berks champion Bulldogs (27-4), who gave sixth-year coach Matt Coldren his 100th career victory.

Josh Smith scored 13 points and Mark Daniels scored 12 for Wilson, which faces District 1 No. 4 seed (Souderton-Lower Merion) in a PIAA opener next Saturday.

After Hartzell's inside basket on a pass from Ryan Ebner, Chambersburg's Aaron Hill missed two foul shots with 16.5 seconds left.

Smith was whistled for a foul on the rebound, and after Chambersburg's DeVonte Merritt missed the front end of a one-and-one, the Trojans got the rebound but turned it over.

Daniels made 1-of-2 foul shots with 10.9 seconds left, Smith batted away a pass with 0.5 seconds left and Armond Perez missed a 3 at the buzzer.
