Highlights:
At Bethlehem, Cory Schmidt's 3-pointer in the final seconds of the third quarter capped a 12-point run as the Trojans (19-9) took command in beating the Muhls (16-13) in a PIAA Tournament Class AAA opener at Freedom High School.
The Muhls scored the first 10 points of the third quarter to build a 30-23 lead, their biggest of the game.
The Trojans took command after that, scoring 18 points over the next five minutes to build a 41-35 lead heading into the final quarter.
Gus Frederick scored a game-high 18 points for Southern Lehigh.
Nick Heck led Muhlenberg with 17.
