Highlights: At Hazleton, each of the five starters contributed baskets during an 11-0 third-quarter run that helped the Argents (30-0) finally pull away from the Trojans (25-6) in a PIAA Tournament Class AA second-round game at Hazleton Area High School.

The District 3-AA runner-up Trojans kept battling back from deficits, including 9-0 to start the game and 17-9 at the start of the second quarter.

Tulpehocken used a 9-0 run of its own to take its only lead at 18-17 on Andrew Pawlyk's bucket underneath with 3:15 left.

The District 2-AA champion Argents responded with an 8-0 run to end the half ahead 25-18.

Center Amir Bey scored a game-high 14 points for Hoban, and floor leader Kyle Flemings inflicted damage with six steals, five assists and 10 points.
