Highlights: The return of Lonnie Walker IV and a game-high 19 points from Ty Gibson Jr. helped Reading High rout Gov. Mifflin 69-49 in a Berks Conference Division I game tonight at Shillington.

Walker, out with an injury since Dec. 23, scored 16 points, had nine assists and grabbed five rebounds as the Red Knights (3-0, 7-4) maintained their spot atop Berks I.

The Knights pulled away from a four-point halftime lead with their sizzling shooting. Reading starters shot nearly 80 percent from the field in the second half, building a lead that reached 24 late in the fourth quarter.

Khary Mauras scored 10 points and had seven rebounds for Reading.

Brandon Rodriguez and Jake Klahr each scored 15 points for the Mustangs (1-2, 5-6), who played without their leading scorer, Trystan Ovid.
