Highlights: At Wyomissing, Myra Owens scored 13 as the Spartans (2-1) held off the Falcons (0-4) in a non-league game. Pottsgrove trailed for most of the game but cut it to 35-30 at the end of the third quarter. Wyomissing pulled away and benefited from the team shooting 6-of-9 from the foul line to finish it. 11 of Owens's 13 points came in the second and third quarter. Elke Cacchione had eight rebounds and five steals to go along with her ten points. For Pottsgrove, Diana Randleman led with 16 points. No other Falcon scored double figures.
