Highlights: At Royersford, Jerry Kapp sank a pair of free throws with 5.3 seconds remaining to give the Bears (3-2, 7-5) a four-point lead and the win over the Golden Panthers (1-4, 3-8). Kapp finished with a team-high 16 points. Boyertown, which held a 34-24 halftime lead, withstood the charge from Pope John Paul II, which outscored the Bears 38-30 over the final two quarters. Richard Dunham and Nicholas Giampietro each scored 16 for the Golden Panthers. Christian Smith had 11 points and Ben Longacre 10 for Boyertown, which outrebounded Pope John Paul II 32-16.
