Highlights: Christian Smith made two free throws to give Boyertown the lead with 22 seconds left and the Bears held off several Owen J. Roberts scoring attempts in the final seconds for a 39-38 Pioneer Athletic Conference boys basketball win on Friday night.

The outcome kept the PAC-10 playoff hopes of Boyertown (6-5, 10-8) alive while realistically ending those of the Wildcats (4-6, 10-9).

Mitch Bradford scored all 13 of his points in the second half as OJR rallied from a 13-point deficit. Smith led the Bears with nine points.
