Highlights:
Khary Mauras and Lonnie Walker IV each scored 16 points and Damon Stern hit four key free throws down the stretch as Reading High held off Harrisburg in the finale of the Geigle Shootout.
The Red Knights (14-4) led by as many as 21 points early in the fourth quarter before the Cougars (12-5) began forcing turnovers with their full-court press.
Harrisburg got as close as 64-56 with 1:23 left before Stern hit both ends of a double bonus.
Stern had 11 points, Ty Gibson Jr. 10 and Justin Kellman nine in a balanced scoring effort.
The Cougars, playing without their second-leading scorer, Chris Whitaker, relied soley on the scoring of senior star Jahaad Proctor. The Holy Cross recruit finished with a game-high 23 points but made just 9-of-29 shots.
Harrisburg led by as many as seven points late in the first quarter but the Knights finished the first half strong, scoring the final 10 points and holding the Cougars scoreless over the final 5 1/2 minutes.
