Highlights: Pottsgrove broke open a two-point game in the third quarter and went on to a 48-35 win over Boyertown in Friday night's Pioneer Athletic Conference boys basketball semifinal at Perkiomen Valley High School.

The high-energy defense of the Falcons (18-5) constantly disrupted the Bears (14-9) and forced 22 turnovers on the night.

Mike Fowler led Pottsgrove with 12 points and three players each scored eight for Boyertown, which held a 40-19 advantage on the boards.
