Highlights: The Boyertown boys basketball season came to an end with a 57-45 loss in the opening round of the District 1-AAAA playoffs. The 19th-seeded Bears (14-10) trailed by a point at the half and were up by one midway through the third quarter before the Red Raiders (16-9) took control with a 10-point run.

Christian Smith led Boyertown with 12 points and Jerry Kapp scored 11. John Rodriguez scored 15 for Coatesville, which will face Pennridge in the next round.
