Highlights: Junior guard Damon Stern scored a career-high 21 points, including 13 in the final quarter, as Reading High beat visiting Warwick in a District 3-AAAA first-round game.

The fifth-seeded Red Knights (22-4) take their 16-game winning streak into a quarterfinal against fourth-seeded McCaskey Saturday at Gov. Mifflin at 2:30.

Stern was good on 15-of-18 free throws, including 11-of-14 in the fourth quarter.

Ty Gibson Jr. came off the bench to score 18 and grab a game-high nine rebounds for Reading.

The Red Knights played without starting guard Khary Mauras, who sat out with an infection on his elbow.
