HERSHEY -- Top-seeded Susquehanna Township used a nine-point run midway through the final quarter to take command in beating eighth-seeded Berks Catholic in a District 3-AAA quarterfinal at Giant Center.
The Saints (16-10) led by 10 points midway through the third period and by 40-35 with 5:57 remaining before the Indians (19-5) stormed back.
Township's Bud Mack scored 10 of his game-high 21 points in the final quarter to lead the comeback.
The defending champion Indians advance to the semifinals to meet Rick Binder's Steel-High team, a 57-54 winner over West York.
The Saints will meet West York Monday in a state qualifier at Donegal at 7. The loser is eliminated; the winner qualifies for the PIAA Tournament.
Connor Jack had 12 points and nine rebounds for the Saints and sophomore Marcus Wilson came off the bench to score 12 points and grab five rebounds.
