Highlights:
Reading High overcame an early 10-point deficit and a fourth-quarter ejection to star Lonnie Walker IV to beat McCaskey in a District 3-AAAA quarterfinal at Shillington.
The fifth-seeded Red Knights (23-4) advance to the semifinals Tuesday at Giant Center against top-seeded Cedar Crest, but they'll do so without Walker, their leading scorer, who was ejected with 2:03 remaining.
Ten McCaskey reserves were also ejected, leaving the fourth-seeded Red Tornado (20-8) to finish the game with just five players.
The Red Knights led 52-46 at the time of the ejections, and saw their lead trimmed to 53-50 with 32 seconds left on a pair of free throws by Kobe Gantz.
Stern pushed the lead back to four with a free throw with 20 seconds left and Keyon McCuthen hit two more seven seconds later to seal it.
Walker finished with a team-high 17 points to go with eight rebounds and five assists.
Gantz scored a game-high 24 points, 17 in the first half.
