Highlights: HERSHEY -- Cedar Crest built a double-digit lead early in the fourth quarter and held Reading High to its lowest point total since December in winning a District 3-AAAA semifinal at Giant Center.

The fifth-seeded Red Knights (23-5), playing without suspended leading scorer Lonnie Walker IV, were held to 38 percent shooting and their lowest point total since a 55-33 loss to Steel-High.

The loss snapped Reading’s 17-game win streak and sends it into a third-place state qualifier Thursday against Cedar Cliff, Thursday at 5 at Milton Hershey.

The top-seeded Falcons (26-2) broke the game open with an 8-0 run early in the fourth period that extended their lead to 51-38.
