Highlights: WAYNE -- Jaekwon Carlyle came off the bench to score a team-high 18 points as Imhotep Charter overwhelmed Berks Catholic in the opening round of the PIAA Class AAA Tournament at Archbishop Carroll High School.

The Panthers (20-9), ranked No. 3 in the state, built a double-digit lead early in the second quarter and led by as many as 38 points in the third quarter.

Connor Jack led the Saints (18-11) with 18 points.

The first-round loss was the third straight for the Saints.
