Highlights: Boyertown's season came to an end with a 48-23 loss to defending state champion Cumberland Valley in the opening round of the PIAA Class AAAA girls basketball playoffs at Harrisburg High School.

The Bears (27-3) were within 19-11 midway through the second quarter before the Eagles (28-1) put the game away with a 19-point run. Abby Kapp led Boyertown with nine points. First team All-State junior Kelly Jekot had 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners, who have now won 23 in a row.
