Highlights: Isiah Cook scored a career-high 19 points, including eight in the third quarter when Reading High pulled away from Gov. Mifflin for a 70-48 Berks Conference Division I victory at Shillington.

The win was the 10th straight for the first-place Red Knights (8-0, 15-3), who maintained a one-game lead over idle Wilson with two league games to play.

Lonnie Walker IV scored 16 points for Reading, including 14 in the first half to help the Knights to a 34-25 halftime lead. He also had seven rebounds and five assists.

Khary Mauras had 14 points, with three steals in the decisive third quarter, which the Red Knights opened with a 15-2 run.

Isiah Tisdale had 15 points and Bubba Peters 14 for the Mustangs (3-5, 9-9), who lost for the second time this season to Reading.
