Highlights:
Lonnie Walker scored a career-high 32 points and topped 1,000 for his career as Reading High demolished McCaskey in the final game of the Geigle Shootout.
The Red Knights (17-3) scored 30 points in the first period, 38 in the third and won by 50 or more points for the fifth time this season.
Walker, a 6-5 junior, also had nine rebounds and seven assists as Reading overwhelmed the Red Tornadoes (15-5), who fell behind by 30 points midway through the third quarter.
Khary Mauras finished with 22 points and five rebounds for Reading; Damon Stern had 12 points and four assists.
McCaskey Kobe Gantz, an All-State pick last season, finished with two points and didn't make a field goal.
The Red Knights entered the game ranked No. 5 in the District 3-AAAA power ratings, one slot behind McCaskey.
Walker's previous career high was 29 points, accomplished twice last season.
