The 23rd-seeded Bears (13-10) led 16-11 after a quarter, but 10th-seeded Phoenixville (20-4) ran off 10 straight points early in the second quarter and led the rest of the way.

Ben Longacre had 20 points and 11 rebounds for Boyertown, Marcus Thomas scored 15, and Jerry Kapp added 13. Christian Kelly led the Phantoms with 25 points, including 11 in the second quarter.
