Highlights:
At Wyomissing, David Awurumibe came up with a key defensive stop to send the game into a second overtime, then hit four free throws as Wilson survived in a 57-53 victory over Gov. Mifflin and advanced to the first round in the District 3-AAAA Tournament.
The 14th-seeded Bulldogs (16-8) led by four points with less than two minutes remaining in regulation before Bubba Peters of the 19th-seeded Mustangs (12-12) hit four free throws to tie it and send it to OT.
Peters scored a game-high 19 points before fouling out with 27 seconds left in the second overtime.
Christian Sload had a team-high 15 points for the Bulldogs and Awurumibe had 13 and made 7-of-10 free throws.
Wilson advances to play at No. 3 Northeastern Wednesday at 7.
The Bulldogs made 26-of-40 free throws, including 11-of-18 in the two overtimes.
Wilson was playing without starters Brian Wright and Foday Jalloh and reserve Tyler Strause, who were suspended for violating team rules.
