Highlights: Pope John Paul II lost a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter of Friday night's District 1-AAA girls basketball quarterfinal at Villa Joseph Marie, but recovered down the stretch for a 52-48 win.

Gabby Troisi scored off a drive with a minute to go for a 50-48 lead for PJP (14-10), which will meet Gwynedd Mercy in a 7:30 p.m. semifinal on Tuesday at Harriton High School.

Troisi scored 22 and Rachel Yerger added 13 points for the winners. Emily Keehfus scored 21 for the Gems (13-10).
