Highlights:
At York, Isaac Lutz hit two free throws with 0.4 seconds left as Berks Catholic edged West York 47-46 tonight in a District 3-AAA Tournament first-round game.
The ninth-seeded Saints (16-8) advance to the quarerfinals to meet top-seeded Milton Hershey (23-1) Friday at 8 at Giant Center.
The Saints blew a 13-point lead and fell behind for the first time in the game on two free throws by Ian Lalic with 4.1 seconds left.
Tyrone Nesby, who scored a career-high 30 points, drew his fifth foul blocking Lalic's layup attempt.
After Lalic's free throws and a timeout Lutz took the inbounds pass, dribbled up the right sideline and was fouled as he cut to the basket.
Lutz made all four of his free throw attempts but the Saints opened the door for the big comeback by missing five straight free throws in the final minute.
Darian McCauley scored 11 of his team-high 19 points in th final quarter to fuel the comeback.
The Saints need one win in the next two games to qualify for the PIAA Tournament for the fifth straight season. They have never lost a district elimination game.
The eighth-seeded Bulldogs (12-9) lost to the Saints for third straight season in district play.
Nesby made 11-of-17 shots from the field, including 6-of-9 from 3-point range.
