Highlights: Zakiyah Winfield scored 13 points Tuesday to lead No. 20 Wilson during a District 3-AAAA first-round loss at No. 4 Central York.

The Bulldogs (14-11), who fell behind early and trailed by 19 at halftime, trimmed the deficit to eight points early in the fourth quarter but got no closer.

Winfield scored eight of her 13 points in the second half for Wilson, which had won three of its last four.

Nikson Valencik scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Panthers (23-2), who advance to the second round to face No. 5 Harrisburg (18-4) Saturday at 5 p.m. at Penn Manor.
