Highlights: At Boiling Springs, the No. 11 seed Scouts (14-9) used pressure defense to overcome a 17 point deficit with four minutes remaining to defeat the No. 6 Bubblers (18-4) in the District 3-AAA first round. TaCari Talford made both ends of a one-and-one with 20 seconds remaining to give Conrad Weiser the lead, capping off a 23-5 run. Talford finished with a team-high 18 points with Kiersten Ingram finishing with 17, 15 in the fourth quarter. Conrad Weiser will face No. 3 Bishop McDevitt Saturday in the quarterfinals at East Pennsboro at 7 p.m.
