Highlights: Lonnie Walker IV scored a career-high 37 points, including seven in overtime, as second-seeded Reading High held off seventh-seeded Carlisle 78-73 in a District 3-AAAA quarterfinal at Giant Center.

The Red Knights (23-3) advance to meet 14th-seeded Wilson in the semifinals Tuesday at 6:30 at Giant Center.

The Red Knights rallied from a 12-point, second-quarter deficit and took the lead into halftime, but the lead went back and forth throughout the second half.

The Red Knights had a chance to win it in regulation but missed two shots in the final three seconds.

In overtime, Walker gave Reading the lead for good when he sliced through the lane for a basket with 2:22 left. He made three free throws in the final 20 seconds, and blocked a shot with six seconds left, to seal it.

The 6-5 junior played the final five minutes of regulation and four minutes of OT with four fouls.

Khary Mauras shook off a slow start to score 20 points.

Deshawn Millington led the Thundering Herd (17-6) with 19 points.
