Highlights:
Lonnie Walker IV scored 18 second-half points as Reading High stormed back from a 10-point halftime deficit to beat Hatboro-Horsham 61-44 in the opening round of the PIAA Class AAAA Tournament at Gov. Mifflin Intermediate.
The District 3-AAAA champion Red Knights (26-3) went cold in the second quarter, scoring just one point and going into halftime down 30-20.
Walker picked up two early fouls and scored just three points in the first half but sparked Reading's 22-0 run over the final two quarters to put the game away.
The Red Knights advance to meet Emmaus, a winner over Martlin Luther King, Wednesday in a second-round game, site and time to be announced.
Damon Stern scored 19 points for Reading and keyed the comeback with a pair of 3-pointers in the first two minutes of the third quarter.
The win was the 21st straight for Reading, which played in front of a partisan crowd of more than 1,800.
The Hatters (14-14) got 10 points from Jay Davis in the first half, but both he and Clifton Moore were in constant foul trouble and eventually fouled out.
Neither of the Hatters' top two scoring leaders scored in the second half. Moore finished with six points and did not get a shot in the second half.
