Highlights: Seniors guards Damon Stern and Khary Mauras dominated Emmaus' heralded junior backcourt and Reading High pulled away for a 71-54 victory in a PIAA Class AAAA second-round game before more than 3,200 at Martz Hall.

Stern took over in the final quarter, scoring 14 of his game-high 22 points as the Red Knights (27-23) nailed down their 22nd straight win.

The District 3-AAAA champs advance to meet Chester in a state quarterfinal Saturday, site and time to be determined.

Lonnie Walker IV finished with 14 points, Mauras had 11 and Isiah Cook 10.

Mauras had a team-high eight rebounds, helping the Red Knights dominate the boards 34-19.
