Highlights: Luis Garcia and Casey Jack combined for 11 fourth-quarter points as Berks Catholic held off Pottsville 47-37 tonight in a tough non-league defensive battle at Wolf Gymnasium.

The Saints (15-4) saw their 15-point, first-half lead whittled to four with 1:02 remaining before Jack came up with a key three-point play.

The Saints hit seven straight free throws in the final minute to extend the lead back to double digits.

Garcia finished with 15 points and Jack with 13. Keba Mitchell had seven blocked shots and seven rebounds.

Jordan Abdo led the Crimson Tide (13-5) with 15 points.

The win was the first for Berks Catholic over Pottsville after two losses, including one in double overtime last year at Martz Hall.
