Highlights: Lonnie Walker IV had 16 points, seven rebounds and seven assists to lead Reading High over Gov. Mifflin in the Berks Conference semifinals at Santander Arena.

The top-seeded Red Knights (21-2) return to Santander Friday against Berks Catholic in pursuit of their third straight league championship.

The Red Knights led by just four points midway through the second quarter before turning up their fullcourt, pressure defense. They forced the Mustangs (19-5) into seven third-quarter turnovers and used a 16-2 finishing run to lead 52-29.

Tyrone Nesby IV had 13 points and R.J. Dixon supplied 10 points off the bench for Reading.

Bubba Peters had a team-high 16 points for Mifflin and finished the night with 998 career points.

Reading has beaten Berks Catholic in the title game in each of the past two seasons.
