Highlights: The greatest performance of Lonnie Walker IV's career propelled Reading High into the PIAA Class 6A championship with a 57-51 victory over Archbishop Ryan at Liacouras Center.

The Red Knights (29-3) return to the state championship game for the first time in 44 years and will take on District 7 champ Pine-Richland, which defeated Carlisle.

Walker finished with 35 points, two shy of his career high.

Walker led Reading back from an 11-point second-quarter deficit, leading a furious 13-0 run to end the first half with the Knights up 29-27.

Walker scored 15 points in the second quarter, including three 3-pointers during the closing rush.

Reading's lead reached 14, at 49-35, with 3:48 before the Knights spread things out in the final quarter and hit enough free throws to hold off the Raiders (24-6).

Wes Butler scored 10 points for Reading.

Izaiah Brockington had 14 first-half points for Ryan but finished with just 16.
