Highlights: Wesley Butler shook off an early injury to score 23 points and lead Reading High to a non-league win over McCaskey at the Geigle.

Butler scored 19 points in the second half.

R.J. Dixon had points for Reading (8-2) and Ricki Lopez had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Butler hit the floor hard on a drive to the basket in the first minute of the game and came up holding his right wrist and forearm.

The Knights' leading scorer made just 1-of-3 field goals in the first half but heated up in the second half. He hit all four of his shots in the fourth quarter, when he scored 12 points.
