Highlights: At Hamburg, the Hawks (9-4 Berks III, 15-8) outscored the Cardinals (11-2 Berks IV, 18-4) 24-11 in the second half and pulled away for the interdivision victory.

The interior defense of Denise Thomas and Lauren Romig helped limit Central leading scorer Krissy Wrobel to five points, tying a season low.

The Cards played the final three quarters without point guard Casey Hoffmann, who suffered a knee injury.

Katrina Seymour returned from a two-game suspension to score 13 points for Hamburg. Romig had 12 points and Thomas had eight rebounds.

Several players on both teams, including Romig and Wrobel, missed time with foul trouble.
