Highlights: At Birdsboro, the Blazers (7-2, 15-4) opened a 13-point halftime lead, then survived a furious second-half rush from the Scouts (4-6, 9-12) to clinch a Berks playoff berth.

Jeff Sowers had a game-high 20 points for Boone, and was clutch in the third quarter. After Weiser stormed out of the break and trimmed its deficit to four points, Sowers hit back-to-back 3-pointers to extend the lead back to 10.

The Scouts weren't done, though. Adam Alhiyari scored 11 of his 15 points and made two 3s in the fourth quarter, when Weiser closed to within three before the Blazers held on at the foul line.

Derek Long led Weiser with 18 points and Tim Weiser had 15.

Dan Sekulski had 14 points, Jimmy McCarthy had 13 and Zach Benjamin scored 12 for Boone.
