Highlights: At Birdsboro, Jimmy McCarthy and Dan Sekulski combined for 11 second-quarter points as the Blazers (9-2) built a 20-point halftime lead in beating the Hawks (6-7).

The Hawks went without a field goal in the second quarter, when they were outscored 15-2. Their only points in the quarter came at the free throw line from Marvin Cottrell, who finished with a season-high 17 points.

Jeff Sowers scored a team-high 17 points for Boone; Sekulski and McCarthy each finished with 15.
