Highlights: Defending Berks Conference champion Wilson held Gov. Mifflin scoreless in the first quarter, then allowed just six baskets over the final 24 minutes of a 44-26 victory at Shillington Thursday night that earned the Bulldogs (7-4, 12, 11) a Berks playoff berth.

Tyler Beck's 10 points paced Wilson, which needed either a win or an Exeter loss to Daniel Boone to seal the playoff spot. Boone wound up beating Exeter, though Wilson easily took care of its own business.

The Mustangs (3-8, 7-15) offered little resistance, falling behind 11-0 after a quarter and never really threatening. Sam Eagleson had a game-high 13 for Mifflin, and shot 9-for-9 at the foul line.

Alex Yoh hit each of the Bulldogs' three 3-pointers and scored nine points, and Mark Daniels had eight.

Wilson will open the Berks playoffs Monday at 8 p.m. at Gov. Mifflin against the winner of tonight's Holy Name-Wyomissing Berks IV playoff game.
