Highlights: At Shillington, Kanisha Edwards scored a game-high 16 points as the defending county champion Red Knights (1-0, 1-3) got their first win of the season by beating the Mustangs (0-1, 2-2).

Gov. Mifflin led 14-10 after a quarter, but Edwards scored 10 points in the second to help Reading take a 10-point halftime lead.

Leola Pinkney scored 10 points for the Red Knights.
