Highlights: At Twin Valley, Kevin Botch hit a key 3-pointer and scored five points in the third quarter as the Muhls (1-0, 8-1) broke away from the Raiders (0-2, 3-6) in their Berks 2 game opener.

The Muhls broke from a 21-21 halftime tie by outscoring the Raiders 16-9 in the third period. Botch and Vaughn Carraway combined for nine points in the period.

Derek Zeller scored a game-high 25 points for the Muhls, including 14 in the final quarter.

Botch finished with 16 points; Larry Geedey had 17 for the Raiders.
