Highlights: Stevie Mitchell scored 19 points to help Wilson pull away from Reading High for a 58-47 victory in a Berks Conference Division 1 opener for both before a packed house at West Lawn.

Reading High's Wesley Butler scored a game-high 22 to keep the Red Knights (3-3) in striking range most of the way.

The win snapped an 11-game losing streak by the Bulldogs (5-0) against Reading.

The loss snapped the Red Knights' 44-game league winning streak.

Evin Timochenko had 18 points, 13 in the second half, for Wilson.

Butler had 10 second-quarter points to help the Red Knights trim a nine-point deficit to 22-21 at the half.

Butler entered as the county's leading scorer, and had at least 26 points in each of Reading's first five games.
