Highlights: Sophomore Stevie Mitchell scored a career-high 27 points to lead Wilson to a 66-59 victory over Lancaster Catholic in a non-league game at West Lawn.

Junior Evin Timochenko had a career-high 16 points for the Bulldogs (2-0); he knocked down a pair of 3's to help them dig out of a 10-point first-half deficit.

The Crusaders (0-2), ranked No. 4 in the state in Class 4A to start the season, got 16 points from Johnny Besecker.

Mitchell jammed 14 of his points into the third quarter; his three-point play gave Wilson the lead for good at 40-38. He scored 11 straight Wilson points during the decisive third-quarter run.

Timochenko scored 10 points in a three-minute stretch of the second quarter to push Wilson ahead 27-24.

The Bulldogs trailed by 10 points late in the first quarter after missing 13 of their first 14 shots.

Avanti Lockhart finished with a team-high 11 rebounds and four assists.
