Highlights: Luis Garcia had a game-high 18 points and Luke Painton grabbed 22 rebounds as Berks Catholic rallied from a third-quarter deficit to beat Constitution 52-46in a non-league game between state-ranked teams at Ben Franklin High School.

Painton, who finished with 11 points, scored three baskets in an 11-2 burst at the end of the third quarter that gave the Saints (6-1) the lead for good.

The Generals (6-6), ranked No. 1 in the state in Class 2A, battled back from an early 13-point deficit to take the lead briefly in the third quarter.

They scored the first 14 points of the second half to erase Berks Catholic's 28-17 halftime lead.

Casey Jack had 11 points and seven assists and Kyran Mitchell had 12 points and seven rebounds for the Saints, ranked No. 6 in the state in Class 4A.

Keshaun Hammonds scored 11 points, more than eight below his average, to lead Constitution.

The Saints and Generals have split four games over the past seven seasons.
