Highlights: At Birdsboro, Alijah Kapoana scored 19 points, Thomas Shumaker 14 and Javier Garcia and Isaiah Egziabher each 10 to pace the Lions to their 20th win with the Commonwealth Christian Athletic Conference quarterfinal win over Christian School of York. The Lions (20-3) trailed 13-12 after one quarter, but Kapoana scored 11 points in the second quarter to key Berks Christian to a 29-22 halftime lead. The Lions broke it open with a 17-10 advantage in the third quarter. Namanje Vujosevic led Christian School of York with 11 points. Berks Christian, the No. 2 seed from the East Division, advances to a semifinal meeting Thursday at Mount Calvary, the the West Division champion. The CCAC championship game will be played Saturday at Lebanon Valley College at 8 p.m.
