Highlights: Wesley Butler scored a game-high 22 points as third-seeded Reading High broke open a close game late in the first half and went on to beat 11th-seeded Manheim Township 68-55 tonight in a District 3 Class 6A quarterfinal at the Geigle.

The Red Knights (19-6) advance to the semifinals Tuesday at No. 2 Chambersburg, a winner over Central York.

Reading trailed by four in the early minutes and was tied 23-23 before ending the first half with an 11-0 run. Butler ended the half with a deep 3-pointer with 2.0 seconds left.

Butler had 10 points in the decisive second quarter, hitting each of his four shots from the field.

Daniel Colter scored a career-high 20 points for Reading.

Zach Oldac had 20 points for the Blue Streaks (15-8).

Tyler Crespo, Township's all-time leading scorer, had 13 points.
