Highlights: Amir Stoute and Davon Lee each scored 12 points to lead a balanced scoring attack as Harrisburg topped Reading High in the District 3 Class 6A championship game at Santander Arena.

The third-seeded Red Knights (20-7) were within a point with 2:54 left but didn't score another field goal for over 2 1/2 minutes. The fourth-seeded Cougars (19-6) put the game away with 11 free throws over the final 2:04. Wesley Butler scored a game-high 21 points for Reading, but had just one basket in the final quarter.

The Red Knights were hurt by 20 turnovers. Reading lost for just the second time in 18 games. Juan Mato had 13 points for Reading.

Reading trailed 10-2 after four minutes but came back to tie it 10-10 after one quarter. The Red Knights trailed by as many as six points in the second quarter before finishing on a 9-3 run to send the game into halftime tied 26-26.

Harrisburg advances to the state tournament to play Downingtown East, the District 1 10th-place finisher. Reading High will play the District 4 fourth-place finisher, La Salle College.
