Highlights:
At Alvernia, the Cardinals (7-1, 14-3) overcame a sluggish start to get past the Spartans (4-2, 7-8).
Down 20-16 at the break, Central rallied in the third and took the lead for good midway through the quarter on a 3-pointer by freshman reserve Theresa Henneman.
Central's Rachel Schleicher grabbed 13 rebounds and scored 10 of her 16 points in the fourth quarter, and teammate Casey Hoffmann scored seven of her 16 points in the final quarter. Krissy Wrobel had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Cardinals.
Katherine Restrepo had 15 points and Cherise Key scored 10 for Wyomissing.
