Highlights: At Sewickley Academy, Rachel Martindale scored 14 points, Lizzy Groetsch 12 and Brynn Serbin 11 as the Tigers (24-2) beat the Mustangs (20-10) in the first round of the Class 6A PIAA girls basketball tournament. North Allegheny pulled away after the first quarter ended in a tie. No Gov. Mifflin player was able to score in double figures. Stella Mollica led the way with six and Elisa Fiore and Destiny White each had five. The county champion Mustangs' season comes to an end. North Allegheny faces either Central Dauphin or Upper Dublin in the second round Tuesday.
