Highlights: At New Holland, Rachel Schleicher had 15 points and 14 rebounds and the Cardinals (22-6) held the Lady Quakers (17-11) to 14.7 percent shooting (5-for-34) to earn the first-round PIAA Class A playoff win.

Central outrebounded Millville 53-21, helping it overcome a struggling offense that shot just 1-for-17 in the second quarter and 12-for-47 (25.5 percent) for the game.

Krissy Wrobel had seven points, 15 rebounds and four assists for the Cardinals, who face either Freire Charter or Nativity BVM in Wednesday's second round, site and time to be determined.

Ambreeline Ortman's 10 points led Millville.
