Highlights: Stevie Mitchell scored a game-high 22 points and had four steals as Wilson rolled to its eighth straight win, beating Berks Catholic in a non-league game at Wolf Gymnasium.

Mitchell, playing in front of Virginia coach Tony Bennett, hit six of his first seven shots and had 14 points at halftime for the Bulldogs (15-1). He also had four rebounds and two assists against Berks' top-rated defensive team.

The Bulldogs, ranked No. 8 in the state in Class 6A, raced to an 18-6 lead after 4 1/2 minutes and maintained a double-digit lead the rest of the way.

The Berks II-leading Saints (8-5) saw their four-game winning streak snapped.

Evin Timochencko finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds for Wilson.

Sophomore Matt Harley knocked down three 3-pointers and 14 points and five rebounds for Berks Catholic.
