Highlights: Justin Spott scored a career-high 21 points and Bryce Harman turned in a terrific defensive job as Gov. Mifflin remained unbeaten with a win over visiting Exeter in the Berks Conference Division I opener for both.

The Mustangs (6-0) scored the first eight points of the game and never were threatened.

Matt Davidheiser led the Eagles (5-1) with 21 points.

Spotts had a game-high 12 rebounds, seven off the offensive glass, to help Mifflin to an edge on the boards.

The Mustangs led by as many as 11 points late in the first quarter and by 13 points late in the second. They were up by as many as 17 early in the fourth.

Harman scored 11 points and held Exeter's Alex Javier to just one first-half basket and eight points overall, less than half his average.
