Highlights:
Stevie Mitchell scored 18 points and Ryan Strobel forced three key turnovers in the fourth quarter as Wilson held off Gov. Mifflin 44-35 in a Berks Conference Division I game at West Lawn.
The Bulldogs (3-0, 10-1) pulled away down the stretch, ending the game on a 10-3 run.
The Mustangs (1-2, 7-3) scored just one basket in the final four minutes, a 3-pointer by Bryce Harman.
Harman kept the Mustangs in it, hitting four 3-pointers in the second half when he scored 15 of his game-high 19 points.
Mifflin led 27-26 after Harman's free throw 30 seconds into the fourth quarter, and was within 34-32 after Matt Gehris' drive with 4:20 left.
Evin Timochenko had a big first half for the Bulldogs, with 10 points. He and Mitchell scored all of Wilson's first-half points.
Mifflin led by as many as three points, at 16-13, but went scoreless over the final three minutes of the first half after Cam'Ron Stewart picked up his third foul.
The Bulldogs entered with four straight wins in the series, and 28 wins in the last 33 meetings.
